Traffic Ticket Enforcement Assistance Program

City Court Site
The Traffic Ticket Enforcement Assistance Program is designed to assist the State Government Courts in enforcing fines and fees assessed on individuals as a result of convictions in Arizona courts.

To enforce the collection of these fines and fees, the Motor Vehicle Department, upon notification from the courts, will place a hold on all future registration of vehicles owned or co-owned by that individual. That individual will be required to contact the courts that have indicated there is money owed and satisfy those debts. Once MVD has been notified that the individual has satisfied their debt, the individual and/or co-owner may once again proceed to register their vehicle(s).
