Here are some common examples of property and housing complaints:
• Substandard housing conditions (no electricity, water, sanitation, etc.)
• Roach and rodent infestations
• Vandalized, abandoned or decaying buildings
• Swimming pools without proper fencing or safety barriers
• Faulty plumbing, electricity or gas related problems
• Unsafe and/or unsanitary living conditions
• Vacant and neglected structures
• We will refer other issues to the appropriate departments or agencies
DNR will investigate your complaint based upon this priority ranking:
• Dangerous conditions are investigated within 24 hours
• Less serious complaints are investigated as quickly as possible
