Los Reales Landfill 5300 E. Los Reales Road
Los Reales Landfill New Entrance Facilities
The City of Tucson's Los Reales Landfill located at 5300
E. Los Reales Road has begun development and design for new entrance facilities
for the landfill. The new entrance will be accessed from Craycroft Road and
will include new Scale Facilities, Drop-off areas for recyclables, a Self-Haul Convenience
Center and Administrative Offices with a Visitor Center. A general overview
of the proposed traffic circulation plan and preliminary site design are illustrated
on the plan (see below). This project is in the planning and design stages
which are scheduled for completion in one year. Construction of the new entrance
facility will begin thereafter.

Residential Rates
Any covered load 2000 pounds or less $10
Any covered load more than 2000 pounds $30 per ton
Tires- Up to (5) rimmed or unrimmed tires $10 (No oversize or commercial tires accepted)
Uncovered loads will be charged an additional $5
Commercial Rates
Commercial customers are charged $30 per ton for covered loads. An additional $5 fee is charged for
uncovered loads. Los Reales Landfill does not accept commercial recycling – call 791-5000 for information about commercial recycling.

to provide the required 24-hour advance notice for residential waste hauled in commercial vehicles.

Residents may also bring metal appliances and other scrap metal items to Los Reales for recycling at no charge. No automobiles are accepted.
