BUSINESS LICENSE SECTION

License applications received in our office after January 1, 2008 are subject to a $25 application fee and a $45 annual license fee.  Both fees are non-refundable.  The fee is prorated by quarter.

2008 Business Licenses started being mailed out April 14, 2008.  Please continue to use your current license until you receive your new one. Contact the License Section through email at tax-license@tucsonaz.gov.

Tucson Supplemental Retirement System (CAFR)

Improvement Districts Special Assessments
Access to assessment info on a property by entering the Parcel/Tax code number.   (520) 791-4124 (office), (520) 791-4296 (fax).

 

Cashier Stations, Hours, and Telephone Numbers
Payments accepted for sales taxes, Occupational licenses, water, refuse, sign codes, improvement assessments, and most other payments due the City. Cashiers also sell bus passes and beer-drinking permits for use in City parks.

Small Business Services (SBS) provides information and resources for every stage of your business development.  Small Business Services collaborates with state agencies and numerous business organizations to promote entrepreneurship among small, minority-, women-owned, and disadvantaged business enterprises.  In addition, they advocate on small business issues that are important throughout Arizona.

 

NEW      INFORMATION ON COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICTS
CFDs are an important tool for municipalities to support beneficial growth and development through the financing of public infrastructure. The Arizona Community Facilities District Act approved in 1988 provides for the establishment of CFDs by Arizona cities and towns. A CFD is a special purpose improvement district within the boundaries of the city or town and is a separate political subdivision typically governed by the Mayor and Council.
