    • Pre Bid meeting held for venders bidding on RFP
  • GDB Subcommittee (Steve Whitney)
    • Continuing to implement different Linear Referencing Systems (LRS) on the street network Geodatabase.  Using pavement management data from Cartegraph to test each LRS to see which one will work out best for this type of data.
  • ePortal update (Steve Whitney)
    • Continuing to update the PowerPoint presentation and will begin contacting a few firms for review and use of the portal.
  • Executive Committee (Dave Koss)
    • Pictometry expires soon. Looking at purchasing the imagery.

  • AGIC (Arizona Geographic Information Council) Conference Notes
    • Attendees of the conference gave a quick summary of the conference. Topics included; GIS Professional Certificate, GIS and Land Surveyors panel discussion, Jeff Mc Connell and his fathers work in Africa presentation, etc, etc

3. Presentation: Web Mapping Applications with ArcGIS Server: Case Studies

        Susan King, Southwest Regional Manager of GIS Inc

    ArcGIS Server is the latest in web mapping technology from ESRI. As many organizations are preparing to take the plunge and deploy applications on this platform, GISi will present several examples of current implementations with ArcGIS Server. The discussion will offer a description of the problems for each case and the reason ArcGIS Server was chosen as the solution; representing clients in both the federal and local government sectors.
