1. Presentation: "Model Builder that exports scripts to VB, Python, or JS" - Ron Platt - TDOT

    - Python training is recommended

    - Python on ArcGIS CDs is outdated

    - Hobu.edu - active state Python

    - Python.org

    - Python - 2.4.2.msi > download and install

    - Win32all (also should be 2.4) > download and install

    - May need:

      - Regedit

      - Software

      - Build registry

    - Model builder presentation to clip parcels to the limits of Tucson or run code at night - export model to script à Java, Pytohn, VBScript

2. Presentation: "ePlans Portal" Bill Marum - COT DSD and Walt Coleman of IDT

    - Not a plan review

    - Developers bringing new plans to jurisdictions and utilities (and engineering CDs)

    - Website: gis.contractorsplanroom.com (contains tutorials on the home page)

    - Also a collaboration tool

3. ER Mapper license agreement (Remote Sensing/Imagery software) – Ron Platt - TDOT

    - ER Mapper application and server compresses images and provides mosaicking abilities

    - Image analysis applications

    - Joint effort between PAG, Pima County, COT, and the GIS Coop

    - Allows unlimited access to the image analysis tools

    - Three year proposed cotract: $20K per year for three years

    - PAG would be the administrator

    - Website: ERMapper.com

    - Integrates with ArcIMS an MapGuide

    - A single license usually costs about $65K

    - If Coop buys in, each supporter of the buy-in (listed above) would pay $4K for each of the three years

4. ArcGIS (INFO) Open License (Is now a go!) - Dave Koss

    - Now available - (city personnel only - for now…)

    - The install disk is currently with Autumn Figueroa at TPD

    - Listed as "GIS_Coop_ArcGIS_1" in the city Groupwise. One can schedule it just like a regular appointment.

    - All questions should be directed to Dave Koss at dave.koss@tucsonaz.gov

5. Ortho 2005 Imagery and U of A data set - Manny Rosas

    - Data is coming in great - Sells data is first

    - There is some reflection on bodies of water

    - Five weeks behind on deliverables

    - File sizes are huge - ArcView 3.x blows up

    - One image = 1.5 GB
