PARKS AND RECREATION FREE ACTIVITY CATALOG ARRIVES JULY 21

Tucson Parks and Recreation’s Fall 2008 Program Guide and Class Catalog will be available Monday, July 21.

The free 64-page catalog contains complete information on hundreds of leisure class offerings, school-year KIDCO programs at more than 45 locations and complete registration details. Most fall session classes run Sept. 7-Nov. 15.

The issue will be available for pick up at all Parks and Recreation Department facilities, including district offices and centers, and for a limited time at Fry’s, Albertson’s, Blockbuster, Super K-Mart, CVS Drug, Ballys Fitness and 7-Eleven outlets.

The Program Guide can also be viewed on-line at www.tucsonaz.gov/parksandrec.

EZEE Registration for City residents begins at 6 a.m. (either on-line at www.ezeereg.com or by phone at 573-3933) for KIDCO Saturday, July 26 and leisure classes Sunday, July 27. Non-City residents can register for KIDCO or leisure classes beginning Wednesday, July 30.

In addition, the booklet contains valuable information on other programs and services, including the Department’s 22 recreation and special needs centers, Reid Park Zoo, 5 Tucson City Golf Courses and 9 year-round pool locations.
