PARKS AND RECREATION ANNOUNCES SUMMER JOB FAIRS

Tucson Parks and Recreation will hold a series of three Job Fairs in March and April, offering summer employment opportunities.

Job Fairs are scheduled at Parks Administration, 900 S. Randolph Way, for Saturday, March 28 and April 4 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and Wednesday, April 1 from 3-7 p.m.

Interested applicants are encouraged to complete an on-line City of Tucson employment application at www.tucsonaz.gov/humanre prior to coming to one of the Job Fairs, but on-line applications can also be completed at the Job Fairs.

Qualified applicants will be interviewed on the day of the Job Fair, and staff will be available to assist with the application process. Applicants need to bring a picture ID.

Summer job opportunities for ages 16+ are available in KIDCO, summer clubs, therapeutic recreation, teen activities and sports programs.

Attendees for the March 28 Job Fair should note additional parking and a free shuttle bus from El Con Mall (NE corner, east of Dodge) to/from Hi Corbett Field (adjacent to Parks Administration) are available. Follow signs for the Rockies Spring Training shuttle, which begin

running at approximately 11 a.m.
