PARKS AND RECREATION PUBLIC MEETING FOR UDALL SOCCER FIELDS

Tucson Parks and Recreation will host a public meeting Wednesday, Sept. 10 at 6:30 p.m. in the Udall Senior Addition multipurpose room, 7200 E. Tanque Verde, to address sports field improvements at Udall Park.

Proposed updates to the park master plan to be presented include two new, lighted soccer fields; lighting for an existing soccer field; walking paths; restroom/concession building; spectator seating; and improvements in parking, landscaping and irrigation.

Location for the new fields is proposed for the area just south of the existing soccer fields off Tanque Verde Road.

Public input is welcome, and comment cards will be provided for ideas and recommendations.
