CITY PARTICIPATING IN JOINT COOPERATIVE INVESTIGATION

The City of Tucson is providing its full support to a cooperative investigation into the cause of an accident at a Reid Park sports field last Friday evening that led to the death of a young boy.

“It is unfortunate when the life of a child is taken by such a tragedy, and on behalf of the City of Tucson, I want to express deepest sympathy to the family,” said Parks and Recreation Department Director Fred Gray.

The investigation to determine the unknown cause of the incident will be conducted jointly by the City, Tucson Electric Power and the family, all of whom have employed independent third party experts.
