PARKS AND RECREATION SETS YOUTH ALL COMERS TRACK MEET MARCH 17

Tucson Parks and Recreation presents a free youth All Comers Track Meet Saturday, March 17 at Tucson High School , 400 N. Second Ave. from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Youth, ages 9-14, can compete in these events: 50-, 100-, 200- and 400-meter dashes, 800- and 1600-meter runs, 4x100 relay, standing long jump and softball throw.

Younger participants, ages 5-8, can compete in the 50- and 100-meter dashes and softball throw.

Parents must provide transportation to this event. Check-in begins at 10 a.m.

Top qualifiers from the 9-14 group will be invited to the Hershey's State Meet in Phoenix in June.
