Connect the facts: Plastic bags create blight through highly visible moving litter that can harm terrestrial and marine wildlife, and will remain entombed in landfills for hundreds of years. Do your part to reduce waste: Plastic bags and other film plastics are collected at many grocery stores and major retailers through the Bag Central Station Program, but cannot be recycled at the curbside. Visit the Reduce-Reuse-Recycle Directory for ways to help recycle plastic bags and many other items instead of sending them to the landfill. Better yet, invest in several reusable, durable, washable cloth bags, and eliminate this source of waste altogether!
Recycle Your Electronics! Don't throw them in a landfill, clean out your unwanted electronics and take them to one of the many Tucson area Electronics Recycling Options.
Call (520) 791-5000 for more information on Tucson area recycling options.
