Almost anything that was once a plant can be composted (yard waste, tea bags, coffee grounds, vegetables, fruit, and more). Eyeglasses-donation of used, intact sets

Many people have one or more sets of eyeglasses no longer in use collecting dust somewhere that can and will be gladly reused. Please contact the following organizations for information on donating eyeglasses for further reuse.

Donation bins for used eyeglasses available at Lenscrafters locations, as well as Wal-Mart Vision Centers and through local Lions Club branches. The Green Valley Lions Recycling Center, 600 N. La Canada Dr. in Green Valley (near library) also accepts eyeglasses along with many other recyclable or reusable items.
