Getting the Answers We Need to Determine Tucson's Future Water Quality

Tucson's Water Quality Questions

The future of our community depends on how we answer fundamental questions about the trade-offs between water quality and water cost. In order to evaluate those trade-offs and reach consensus on the water quality we will have in the future, we need answers to technical questions and a customer-oriented process to evaluate alternatives.

"At the Tap" is designed to help us find the answers we need. The program represents a new way of serving the customers of Tucson Water - working together with you to determine what's important to you in your water and how to deliver water that's acceptable to you in quality and in price. A team of experts in water quality, corrosion control, water treatment, and taste and odor are working with Tucson Water to help provide answers to these questions.

Some of the technical answers we need are:
"At the Tap" focuses on water quality at the customer's tap.

The goals of the program are to answer technical questions about our water quality options and determine the best ways to serve water that is acceptable to you both in quality and price.

How you can participate

Attend Open Houses that will be held in various locations in the metro area both inside and outside the City limits. You will find the latest information about the progress of the "At the Tap" program.

Complete the comment cards you will find at the Open Houses, or can get from any Tucson Water employee you see in your neighborhood.
